Jim is the founder and president of TherapyWorks' Rehabilitation Centers. He has been a practicing neuromuscular therapist specializing in advanced manual therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and injury rehabilitation since 1994. He has successfully treated thousands of people that suffer from soft tissue injuries, acute and chronic pain, and stress related ailments.

Tommie-Lee B. Lehman, V.P.
Office and Billing Administrator

Tommie-Lee is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelors degree in Management. She serves as vice president of TherapyWorks of Jacksonville and handles all of the important daily functions of the office, in addition to all administrative and personnel issues. Tommie-Lee brings her great knowledge finance, billing, human resources, and organization to maintaining a consistent and productive office.

Heloise Murphy, M.P.T.
Physical Therapist

Heloise has been a practicing physical therapist for 13 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Exercise Physiology in 1998, and continued her education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, receiving her Masters in physical therapy in 2000. At the University of St Augustine, she received advanced training in manual therapy for the treatment of the spine and extremities. Heloise has gained experience in treatment of a wide variety of conditions in the adult and geriatric populations, including joint and soft tissue injuries, post-surgical, spinal conditions and acute and chronic pain. She is excited to be a part of the Therapy Works team to provide hands-on care and individualized treatment programs.

Theresa Scully, P.T.
Physical Therapist

Jacksonville native and mother of two, Theresa Scully has been a physical therapist since 2000, earning her degree from the University of North Florida. She proudly worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a Roar cheerleader from 2003-2006. As an orthopedic physical therapist, she has extensive experience in sports medicine, orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, low back pain, neck pain, and various other chronic pain pathologies. At the start of her career, she began researching treatment programs that were successful in treating chronic low back pain and neck pain. This research lead her to the wonderful world of Pilates! She integrated Pilates exercises in her treatment programs and was intrigued by the immediate reduction in pain and improvements in the daily functions of her patients. She became a certified Mat Pilates instructor in 2002, applying the Pilates method to most of her treatment programs. She has received Pilates apparatus training from Balanced Body University. As a part of her own fitness training she is well versed in strength training and yoga.

Sheree Lovett, P.T.A.
Physical Therapist Assistant

Sheree graduated from Fl Gateway college of Lakecity with an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Originally from the small town of Macclenny FL she took an active interest in Physical Therapy while working in marketing for a home health care agency. She has specialized in the neuro rehab of CVA, Parkensons and MS. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and uses a combination of therapeutic exercise, modalities and manual techniques to help restore people back to the things they love to do. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, karaoke and staying involed with church activities.

Tristan Martin Gatto, GPTA
Physical Therapist Assistant Graduate

Tristan recently earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree with honors from Concorde Career Institute in Jacksonville, FL. He is a native of Buffalo, NY and is a former professional vocalist and dancer with over 10 years of experience. He has performed on Carnival Cruise Lines, toured out of Nashville, TN, and has entertained in Pigeon Forge, TN and Branson, MO. Tristan also has taught dance for several years and is currently working on his Yoga certification courtesy of Yoga Den in Jacksonville, FL. He is continuing his education in Manual Therapy and orthopedics with a focus in Sports rehab and conditioning. He lives by the motto: "Solid Body, Solid Mind." Tristan believes in connecting with each patient and customizing his treatments to each individual's goals and life activities.

Bradley Boyd, L.M.T., N.M.T.

Brad has been practicing massage therapy since 2006 in the Jacksonville area working mainly with clients suffering from personal injury or physical stress. Brad feels listening to his clients needs is his number one attribute and he feels that communication is key. His certification in Neuromuscular Therapy, Personal Training, and his Occupational Associates of Science degree have all helped him understand his clients needs and help aid in his ability to help patients reach their goals. Brad states he knows from personal experience that once you walk into a medical office, you may not know exactly what questions to ask, but his ability to perform a careful assessment of each of his clients needs is helps to bring out the real cause of the issue in order to begin correcting the problem. He looks forward to personally working with you in the future and assisting you in reaching your goal of a healthier lifestyle.

Cynthia Petito, OTR/L, ATP, CAPS
Occupational Therapist & Assistive Technology Professional

Upon graduation from the College of Health Professions Occupational Therapy program at the University of Florida in 1995, Cindi joined Brook's Rehabilitation Hospital (formally known as Genesis), where she gained knowledge and experience by treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and other neurological conditions. In addition, Cindi gained additional education and acquired a RESNA certification as an Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) in 2001. She recognized the need to provide this specialized service within the Jacksonville community for individuals who were homebound and couldn't travel to a wheelchair clinic. Today, Cindi and her team's vision and ideas continue to provide holistic patient care by solving each patient's individual mobility problems, whenever there's a lack of proper equipment, assistive technology or environmental accessibility.

JoAnna Sheward, L.M.T., N.M.T.
Medical/Orthopedic Massage Therapist Lic#MA58361

Joanna graduated from Florida State College - Florida Coastal Career Tech Division. She specializes in deep tissue, neuromuscular techniques, cross fiber friction, and trigger point therapy as an integrative approach in order to achieve outstanding therapeutic results. With her therapeutic hands-on skills, her goal is to normalize joint movement and function as well as reduce pain caused by accidents, sporting injuries, or repetitive motion injuries. JoAnna also provides stress reducing therapies in order to promote general health and to improve your overall well-being.

Lisa Nolan-Bryan
Orthopedic Massage Therapist/MA#58742

Lisa attended massage therapy school over 4 years ago and has been trained in providing neuro-muscular therapy, relaxation, trigger point therapy, reflexology, cranio-sacral, active isolated stretching, Reiki, and myofascial release. In addition, she also treats sciatic nerve/lower back pain, migraine/ tension headache, TMJ disorders (Temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders), fibromyalgia, sports injuries, and acute & chronic pain. Her goal through therapeutic touch helps the body heal and also boosts those happy feelings we all want to feel and live. Lisa states that through years of talking to so many different people from so many different backgrounds and places, she began to understand that we as human beings share one common trait: No matter where we come from or who we are, we all just want to be happy in ourselves and in our lives.

Alex E. Porro, LMT, MMP
Orthopedic Massage Therapist/MA47015

Alex was born and raised in New York City, but has called Jacksonville his home since 1993. Graduated from Heritage Institute in 2006 and obtained his certification as a Medical Massage Practitioner in 2010. His interests in clinical based massage therapy has allowed him to work among several health care professionals such as chiropractors, physical therapists, medical doctors and other massage therapists. Neuromuscular Therapy, PNF, and myofascial release are just a few of the several methods and techniques used by Alex when treating individuals who have acute and chronic conditions due to injuries or overused muscles. His attention to detail and understanding of soft tissue related injuries and habitual movements have proven to improve the condition of patients and clients.

Kiz Damato
San Marco - Office Manager / Medical Receptionist

Kiz is a Jacksonville native and mother of 2 wonderful children. She began working for TherapyWorks in 2010 as the front office administrator and receptionist at our San Marco location. Kiz truly enjoys seeing how much better patients feel after their therapy and ensuring that the office runs smoothy throughout the day. On her time off, she enjoys reading, socializing with friends and family, watching movies, and shopping.

Paula Bell
Orange Park - Medical Receptionist

Paula and her husband Kevin relocated to Jacksonville in 2008. Paula is a mother of two grown children and a proud grandmother of one. Paula joined the Therapyworks staff in March of 2013. During her free time she enjoys boating, fishing, riding the Harley, and doing various crafts. She also keeps herself busy with her six mini Dachshunds. Her goal is to make your visit to our office the best part of your day.


Shauna Perri
Executive Assistant & Physician Liason

Shauna Perri, a Florida native, started with TherapyWorks in February of 2012 as the Physicians Liason. She helps to actively educate physicians and their staff on the importance and vital role that TherapyWorks plays in aiding their patients to a happier, healthier life, as well as, serving as a intermediary between the clinics and the physicians. In July 2012, we had the pleasure of bringing Shauna on full time as the Executive Assistant to the President of the company, as well as, continuing to market physicians in the Jacksonville and Orange Park areas. Shauna states that she loves watching the company grow day by day and knowing that she is a part of such a great team who genuinely cares about each and every patient.
