Neuromuscular Therapy
Includes initial exam and postural assessment each visit
This comprehensive program of soft-tissue manipulation balances the body's central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system.
Based
on neurological laws which control how the central nervous system initiates and maintains pain, the goal is to help relieve the pain and dysfunction
by understanding and alleviating the underlying cause.
Neuromuscular therapy can help individuals who experience distortion and
biomechanical dysfunction, which is often a symptom of a deeper problem.
It is also used to locate and release spasms and hyper contraction
in the tissue, eliminate trigger points that cause referred pain, restore postural alignment, proper biomechanics and flexibility to the tissues,
rebuild the strength of injured tissues, and assist venous and lymphatic flow.
Stress Reduction & Relaxation Massage
One of the most commonly taught and well-known massage techniques, Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize
the body by stimulating circulation.
Our therapists use a combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, percussive and tapping movements
with the application of oil to reduce friction on the skin.
The many benefits of Swedish massage may include generalized relaxation,
dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
Stress Relief with Deep Tissue
This technique is the most popular treatment involving a mixture of Swedish massage therapy and neuromuscular therapy in order to address
specific areas of pain and accumulated tension.
The treatment involves focusing on relaxation along with gaining the benefits of releasing
deep hyper contracted muscular tissue.
Typically, the majority of clients have complaints of neck pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain or
headaches which will be specifically addressed during this therapy session.

Reflexology
Foot Reflexology is a "pressure therapy" and involves applying focused pressure to certain known "reflex" points located in the foot, which correspond to certain other areas in the body. This is as simple of an explanation that can be given for work that is far more valuable than any definition of itself. Some of the recognized benefits from receiving a reflexology treatment include increased circulation, relaxation, and release of tensions. Other benefits discovered through use of this ancient tool include clearing of emotional debris and detoxification of organs.
Pre and Post Pregnancy
Massage therapy in pregnancy can include specific light and deep pressure massage, myofascial techniques, circulatory work, acupressure,
reflexology, and other techniques.
It helps to reduce and alleviate neck, back, and joint pain caused by posture weakness, tension, extra
weight, or mechanical imbalances.
It also will also reduce tension, fatigue, headaches and soothe nerves to help with sleep problems. The
increase in circulation will encourage a reduction in blood pressure and decrease possibilities of swelling, varicose veins and leg cramps.
